Love Foundation collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on this website.  The Foundation reserves the right to amend or change this policy at any time and will take effect as soon as posted.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we strive to maintain physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards.  We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You transmit all such information to us at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security. Only authorized persons are permitted to access your personal information. All authorized persons must abide by security, privacy, and confidentiality agreements.

Donor/Contributions Policy
The Robert S. Love Foundation will not sell, share, or trade a donor’s information with anyone else.  If you choose to donate to our organization, we maintain a record of your contribution. Your financial information will be treated as described above.

Personal information
We do not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. If you volunteer, enroll for a LoveCures event, request information, or donate, for example, we may collect the following information: first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, email address, and subject of inquiry.

If you choose to enroll in an event, we collect standard credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date) and keep a record of your financial transaction. Credit card numbers are held only until the charge can be processed (usually several minutes), and then the number is only available to RSL staff for purposes of problem resolution.

If you register to participate in a LoveCures event using our event registration site, and elect to use our referral service to inform a friend about the event registration site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and address. We will store this information in order to send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the sites.

Requests for Information
If you submit a question through a “contact us” query, we may have to gather additional information from you to respond to your request. Such information will vary with the request but often includes name, telephone number, and email address.

Forums
If you choose to participate in a chat room, discussion board, news group or another public forum that we make available to our users, please remember that any information that you disclose in these areas becomes public information. You should exercise caution when deciding whether or not to disclose your personal information.

Third Party Payment Providers
When the RSL Foundation offers a service in conjunction with a third party service provider, it is necessary for us to share your personal information with the company offering the payment service (example: PayPal). If you do not want your data to be shared, you can choose not to allow the transfer of data by not using that particular service. If you choose to share your data with a third party provider, you should understand that those providers may have separate privacy and data collection practices. RSL Foundation has no control over and accepts no liability for these independent practices. Each provider should provide information regarding its privacy and/or use policies. The RSL Foundation website may contain links to other public or private entities' websites, whose privacy practices we do not control.  While we will attempt to provide only links to secure sites, we cannot be responsible for other entities’ website security.

Standing Policies
The Robert S. Love Foundation has adopted Whistle Blower, Document Destruction and Conflict of Interest Policies.  These documents are available by email request to the Foundation office at info@lovecures.org.
